Fairmont Palliser - Calgary

We had such a magical stay! The Christmas decorations were gorgeous, and the room setup was above and beyond. Plus, that delicious dinner at Hawthorn was a real treat!

Central location of this good budget hotel was a bonus. We had lunch in Meat & Bread, located nearby. Stylish and high-class units with a great bathroom and bath, and the staff were top-class.

The pool was crystal clear and the temperature was perfect, just how I like it. The rooms are beautifully appointed with comfy beds and historical charm.

No internet in the rooms.

Well-appointed and well stocked rooms, I had very lovely experience.

Queen size bed was so comfy, and the room was big. The location was magnificent, close to Vertigo Theatre.

Save your time

While the location shines and the vintage charm captivates, my experience suffered due to staffing inconsistencies and a lack of communication, especially with valet services. Beautiful rooms and great decor can't mask that frustration. Dining options felt overpriced, leaving me craving a better value. Not my ideal getaway.

The staff treat you like royalty and it is a great place to stay when you want to be downtown.

It was nicely decorated hotel for one night. The workers were knowledgeable and well-mannered. They recommended a good restaurant for breakfast. It offered very good service and exceptional food too.

Location and the class the hotel provided

The hotel has a lot of character and is unique in it's design. The food was excellent but quite expensive.

The first night I stayed they put me in a room next to the elevator. I did not sleep well as there was a constant banging noise outside of my wall. Then when I checked out they tried to overcharge me for the room.

I appreciated the elegant decor of Fairmont Palliser, which combined vintage charm with modern comforts. The staff were helpful.

Better accessibility features would enhance the experience.
